I used to feel sorry for Jon because of the way Kate treated him.  Then he turned out to be a selfish teenage boy.  Not feeling sorry for him anymore.  I really wish Kate would take the kids off TV all together but I know she has a contract still.

Contract?   She has kids!  The kids should trump the contract but I see in her case it is admirable to honor the contract and to hell with your children.  They both need to do some serious thinking.  They're both to blame.  I found it funny a awhile back how some were lamenting Jon's "frivolous" purchase of a sportscar that "shows zero interest in the kids" meanwhile Kate is racking up tens of thousands in cosmetic surgery; for the kids???

I'm totally with you Lisa!  Don't get me wrong.  I think what they are doing by continuing the show is a horrible display of parenting. 

I always knew he was a putz.  She's not much better.  What's a female putz?

I'm over the whole thing.  The show peaked my interest for about 2 seconds and has been blown out of proportion by the media ever since.  I don't get why it's as if these are the ONLY 2 people in the world who have 8 kids. I used to like to watch Ruby too.  Then I started getting bitter, because, though I think it's wonderful  and commendable that she is losing weight... I and millions of other overweight, financially struggling people could lose weight too with the help of a TV show & paid personal trainer and doctor supervision... must be nice!   For what it's worth, I think John is immature and deserves not one more second of the media fame he so gluttenly continues to absorb! 

madreloca - you need to get a hobby. Where are your kids when you spend all your time looking up medical articles, watching reality tv and listenting to political shows you are just going to complain about the next day?

I'm glad Jon is out.  Yes Kate did mistreat him sometimes but he should have stood up to her then instead of holding it in all these years and resenting her.  Talk about childish.  Grow up and be a man.  It's his own fault for letting her treat him like that. 

Now they earn a living and are entitled to purchase splurges for themselves, as long as it is within reason.  At least that is how I feel.  Believe me if I had 6 kids at the same time I'd sure as hell want a tummy tuck too! I've only had one and want one... Who are we kidding here...
