How's the Michael Jackson movie, and do you think a kid would like it? My 11-year-old is interested, but I told him there's no story, just concert practice footage.

Has anyone seen it? Would you recommend it?

I haven't seen it yet. They did just announce they will extend the showings until Thankgiving instead of the 2-week run it was supposed to have. I saw that one coming.

I heard it's really good. I will probably go sometime this weekend.

I havent gone yet either, but I think I will soon. My 10 yr old daughter is wanting to see it as well. I think it will be a great film. I love his music and dancing...cant see how it would be boring at all, thats for sure! The only problem is that I will probably have his songs stuck in my head for weeks after watching it! lol

It looks really good.  I heard it's very sad at the end (obviously) so maybe bring tissues.... we'll probably see it in the next week or so.

I love how people over look a persons faults when they die and only look at the positive. The man was WAY TOO inappropriate with kids. Yeah, he's music was good in the day but he was so washed up.  Like Elvis, only Elvis hurt himself-not little boys

Not saying it happened or it didnt happen, but nothing was ever proven. Yes, he was a strange man, but does being strange make him a criminal? If I had proof he did it fine, my opinion of him as a man, would change, but I would still love his talent. I think people are mourning his talent, creativity, and the memories that were made in our lives when each song was a hit, not the man. At least thats what Im thinking of when sadness strikes me regarding his death.

I have a nephew sitting in prision for 15 yrs...FIFTEEN YEARS, for something that was never proven in the courts. He had a troubled life as a teen (he was charged for this crime at the age of only 19) and it was easy to label him. He is innocent however. People that run off with what they FEEL is the truth rather than what the facts show, are the ones that stick labels on peoples backs and point, while they run away.

Yes, there are TOO MANY very odd people out there, let me tell you (lol), but Im not about to label them as something without having proof. To top it off, he was worth MILLIONS.....he's a perfect target for a parent wanting to accuse him of molestation...Strange and welathy, perfect! In the same breath, I will say that it was WRONG for him to have slumber parties with kids and such. Very wrong indeed! I wondered if he had severe learning disablilities. He seemed so out of touch with the "adult world". Very strange man! Loved his talent though...and thats what I mourn.

I saw it & enjoyed it.  So did the people that I was with.  I will also be getting it on net-flix when it comes out.  Also, It  was very interesting to me to see how a concert was put together.
