Aren't We All Supposed To Be Community Organizers?

Obama urged us all to be community organizers during his campaign.  I guess now it's just if you meet a their criteria.  Here's what our wonderful democratic party has said about the protestors to the health care bill these last few weeks.  I'm confused.

Nancy Pelosi:  Called protestors unAmerican & said "I think they're Astroturf.  You be the judge.  They're carrying swastikas & symbols like that to town hall meetings."

Robert Gibbs (Obama spokesman):  says this is all "manufactured angered" & called protestors "The Brooks Brothers Brigade."

Barbara Boxer:  insists the protests have to be fake because the protestors are "too well dressed."

Arlen Specter:  "protestors are not representative of America."

Rep. David Scott (GA) :  said "drama over health care reform was being manufactured by right-wing protestors & has produced an uptick in racially-motivated attacks."

DNC Commercial :  "Now desperate Republicans and their well-funded allies are organizing angry mobs just like they did during the election. Their goal? Destroy President Obama and stop the change Americans voted for overwhelmingly in November."

Those quotes are too funny!  Talk about paranoia!!!  All of the talk about "manufactured right-winged blah blah blah"  sounds just like a certain crazed First Lady speaking of a Vast Right-Winged Conspiracy back in the '90's.     What is particularly amusing is how they view the world.  Surely it must be a conspiracy if people don't agree with our agenda?  Does it occur to these people that maybe just maybe their ideas are crap and perhaps a trip to the proverbial drawing board is in order?  lol

Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) the longest serving member in the U.S. House speaking of protests at health care town meetings:

"Well, the last time I had to confront something like this was when I voted for the civil rights bill and my opponent voted against it. At that time, we had a lot of Ku Klux Klan folks and white supremacists and folks in white sheets and other things running around causing trouble."

Yeah, if anyone is interested, there is a posting, Pregnant with Breast Cancer from yesterday and her friend is 4 months pregnant and diagnosed with breast cancer.  She is looking to either round up walkers for a team in her friend's name, Jennifer Varner for October 24, 2009 for Making Strides (Walk for a Purpose) or have people donate.  Thanks to anyone who is able to help out or walk.
