I have two tickets to Classic Albums Live! Queen: Night at the Opera at the King Center Saturday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m.

I will randomly choose one name from everyone who post in this thread. Here is what we are going to gab about:

One of the songs on this classic album is "You're My Best Friend." Tell us about one of your friends who always makes you smile. It can be someone your are friends with now or someone in the past who holds a special place in your heart.

Only one thread per person for this giveaway. Thanks.

I will choose a name Wednesday morning, Sept. 2.

Ok, let me start with this. I an a HUGE Queen fan! So I'm going to throw my hat into this ring! :)

I really don't have a "best" friend per say. But one of my close friends at work can make me smile in a heartbeat! She is probably the FUNNIEST person that I have ever met. She finds humor in every situation and our humor "matches", if that makes sense. I have a very odd sense of humor and most people can't understand why I laugh at some of the things that I do. But she does. So there are times at work when I will go and look for her just to tell her something because I know that she will get it. lol

Oh My Gosh!  I love Queen, my little ones and I listen to "We Will Rock You" on the way to school every morning.  Anyhow, "You're My Best Friend" is Amy, who currently is living in New Hampshire.  She and I became friends when we dated twins and met for a double date when we were 21 years old.  Amy is the most loyal, energetic, fun-loving, flexible, honest friend I have ever known.  We have traveled to Key Largo together and spent time in a water bar just relaxing and enjoying the sites, on the way home she was all up for driving through Coconut Grove and stopping for lunch at Cafe Tu Tu Tango.  We traveled to Boston the week before September 11th and she made sure that we saw more of the city than I have in a lifetime.  Amy is always willing to explore any new adventure whether traveling or being a new mom for the first time.  She is a first-time mom and whether we are two doors down or many miles away, she is there for me to talk to, confide in and cry to during the most trying times.  She has been there for me through a heart-wrenching divorce and we shared our pregnancies last year together over the phone.  There isn't anyone that compares to her spirit, loyalty, intelligence and pure friendship for me than her.  Slainte' (Irish toast) Amy!

Sounds like a great night out on the town kid free. My best friend is my Fiance' beacuse he is the one person I know I can count on no matter what. I have always had lots of girlfriends BUT it just isn't the same. We have our own little sayings and inside jokes that no one else understands and we know just when to say them to each other to make the other one laugh.

I think this is whats keeps us going so strong.

Ive never been to a concert or anything! and my finance and I definitly listen to Queen lol

So I'd have to say that my bestfriend is actually a group of girls, and they are my sister and I and my two cousins.  We grew up together at or dads house (the same house) every other weekend.  Though we are older now and have grown apart a little, they are still the girls that I get the goofiest with and no matter what can have a blast with!

Queen is awesome!  Will Adam Lambert be performing with them? :-)

One of my best friends always has time to listen even if I sound like a crazy person, and for that she should get a medal!

The thought of my best friend makes me smile.I see her every day.We met at work and ,have worked together for the last 5 years. She is the sister I never had.    She makes me laugh like no-other.  We have seen each other through the best of times and the worst  times together.

I am so glad that you did another contest for the Classic Albums...Queen is one of my favorite bands...reminds me of my Dad and him singing their songs (off key) taking us to school!

Besides my hubby and my daughter, my best friend is my sister-in-law, Jenny. She has been my bestie for over 10 years now. We came friends prior to me and my husband (her brother) began dating. We used to work together and everyone thought that we were sisters, as we do look a lot alike. We have so many fun times together, and it is a plus that she is family...because she can never get mad at me :)

I love Queen, they are my saving grace on my IPOD when I need that extra spurt of energy.  I have two best friends, God and my daughter, they are the two people that get me thru each day, they are the ones I turn to when I need pateince, grace, or laughter.  They both know me from the inside out the good the bad and the embarssing lol.  They would be the two people I would bring to enjoy the sounds of Queen.

My best friend is Pamela, she has been there for close to 30 years.  We met at my cousin's birthday party and became really close after that.  We have alway had our up's and down's as most friend do, but somehow we always find our way back!  I am always using her as a sounding board and she the same with me...I am so lucky to have her back in my life.

My husband is a HUGE Queen fan and his ipod is full of their songs so the tickets for him would be a real treat....
