According to a recent CBS News opinion poll nearly half of Americans say they believe in ghosts, or that the dead can return in certain places and situations.

Women are more likely to say they believe in ghosts than are men: 56 percent of women believe, while 38 percent of men do. More than half of younger Americans aged 18 to 45 believe in ghosts; those over 45 are less likely.

More than one in five Americans says they have seen a ghost themselves, or have felt themselves to be in the presence of one.

I personally have never seen a ghost but I have had events happen to me that make me stop and wonder if a loved one who had died didn't somehow play a role in the outcome. What I like to call my Angels watching over me.

I have what I call a 'visitor' in my house.  I have seen it and so has my hubby.  It will slam my double locked door, open my screen porch door and make photographs land in the most unusual places.  I told it it was welcome as long as it causes no physical harm.

I have several entities that visit often. For some reason my bedroom and bathroom seem to be a gathering place, especially my bathtub...They don't use it, just go there and disappear.    Rose in Roses Room

When I was a teen I saw one in front of my parents house; I was with a friend and he saw it as well. We used to live in Orlando and we moved into brand new home (14 yrs ago) and we used to hear people going up the stairs, closing doors and talking. One day I was taking a shower and my son (he was 2 at the time) was in the corner of my room sitting there. I asked him what happened and he said that the little boy told him to go there, the "boy" was going up and down the stairs. Later on I saw the "boys" too.

My grandma came to visit and the 2nd night at my house she told me that there was a "male figure"walking upstairs from one room to another, my husband agreed with her; he had seen the same thing before. People usually thinks that those visitors are there for something that happened before and they decided to stay; in this case the house was built for us, we picked the lot and the house, so nobody was a resident of the house before we did.  Creepy?!?!?!?

Here in Brevard County, have not seen....and hope I never will.

I voted...No, but stories like this always make me rethink my answer.   Talk about Creepy!!
